Colin Rule:
Colin Rule is eBay and PayPal’s first Director of Online Dispute Resolution. He is also the author of Online Dispute Resolution for Business (Jossey-Bass,2002). Colin co-founded Online Resolution,one of the first online dispute resolution (ODR) providers,in 1999 and served as its CEO (2000) and President.
He currently serves as Co-Chair of the Advisory Board of the National Center for Technology and Dispute Resolution at UMass-Amherst and a Non-Resident Fellow at the Center for Internet and Society at Stanford Law School.
Zbynek Loebl:
Zbynek Loebl is an international Internet and technology lawyer. He has been external counsel of ADR.EU,Internet dispute resolution center attached to the Czech Arbitration Court in Prague (www.adr.eu). Zbynek managed an international team which on behalf of ADR.EU implemented an on-line platform for the resolution of disputes related to .eu domain names in 21 languages (2006). John D. Gregory is General Counsel in the Policy Division,Ministry of the Attorney General (Ontario). After clerking for the Chief Justice of Canada,he was called to the Ontario Bar in 1977. He practised commercial law in Toronto with Wright &McTaggart until 1985,when he joined the provincial government. He has developed policies on alternative dispute resolution,private international law,trade law and provincial offences,including the electronic filing rules for photoradar speeding tickets. He has been president of the Uniform Law Conference of Canada .
He chaired the working group that produced the Uniform Electronic Evidence Act and another that created the Uniform Electronic Commerce Act . From 1997 through 2005 he was a member of the Canadian delegation to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law’s working group on electronic commerce . He has been a director of the Information Technology Lawyers Association of Canada and is currently a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Internet and E-Commerce Law in Canada and the Canadian Journal of Law and Technology . Daniel Rainey is the Chief of Staff for the National Mediation Board,a U.S. government agency charged with labor-management relations in the airline and railroad industries. Karim Benyekhlef:
Karim Benyekhlef has been a professor in the Faculty of Law of the Université de Montréal since 1989,and since 1990 he has been seconded to the Centre de recherche en droit public,of which he has been the Director since 2006. A member of the Quebec Bar since 1985,he praticed in the federal Department of Justice from 1986 to 1989. His areas of teaching and research are information technology law,constitutional law (human rights and freedoms),international law,and legal theory and history. Vikki Rogers is the Director of the Institute of International Commercial Law at Pace Law School. She teaches as an adjunct professor at Pace and Fordham Law School on international commercial law and international arbitration. Prior to that,she worked at leading domestic and international law firms on construction law and international arbitration. Additionally,she was a case manager at the ICDR at the AAA. She has published in the areas of international sales law and online dispute resolution and international arbitration. Her current work focuses on international sales law,international consumer law,online dispute resolution (for domestic and cross-border disputes),and electronic and mobile commerce. She is the Director of the Global Consumer Law Forum,Vice-President of the Internet Bar Association and an Editor of the UNCITRAL CISG Digest (2011 Edition). Ernest Thiessen
Dr. Ernest Thiessen is the Founder and President of Smartsettle (iCan Systems Inc). He has led iCann’s development team since 1993 in to create the world’s first comprehensive eNegotiation system. The system is based on research that Dr. Thiessen directed at Cornell University,where he received a PhD in Civil Engineering with a specialty in Water Resources Systems Planning and Analysis. Dr Thiessen also directs the International eNegotiation Tournament and was a lecturer in 2010 for UNESCO-IHE’s Negotiation and Mediation for Water Conflict Management course. Dr. Thiessen served as a volunteer doing irrigation engineering for Mennonite Central Committee in Nepal during the eighties on an integrated rural development project. Moonchul Chang
Professor Chang has taught ADR Law and Commercial Law at National Police University. He has many experiences and expertise on ADR and ODR areas. During the year of 2001-2007 he also served as a chairman of Korea Internet Dispute Resolution Committee (KIDRC) and since then has worked as a domain name panelist with KIDRC and WIPO. Since 1999 he also worked as a mediator with Korea e-Commerce Dispute Resolution Committee. Since 1995 he has practiced arbitration and mediation with the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB),ICC (Korea),and WIPO. In 1996-1999 he had played a key role in drafting the new Korean arbitration law as a member on law reform committee on arbitration in the Ministry of Justice. He obtained J.S.D and LL.M degree from Dalhousie Law School,Canada and LL.B degree from Korea University. The title of his Doctoral thesis was “The Autonomy of International Commercial and Maritime Arbitration.(1989). Dr. Hong Xue is a Professor of Law and the Director of the Institute for the Internet Policy &Law at Beijing Normal University (BNU).
Prof. Xue specializes in intellectual property law,information technology law and the Internet governance. Before joining BNU,she was the associate professor of Faculty of Law,University of Hong Kong. Prof. Xue is the fellow of Yale Information Society Project.

William (Bill) MacLeod
Bill MacLeod founded the MacLeod Law firm in 1991. He has practiced law mainly in the fields of insurance,professional liability and wills and estates. He has a deep and varied background in the resolution of all manner of disputes. Mr. MacLeod has trained as a mediator,and has lectured on the use of computerized systems for settlement of disputes.
